NBITLO, along with our nationwide and regional network of IT Professionals, S.T.E.M. Practitioners and Tech Entrepreneurs and youth members throughout the United States, are frontline advocates committed to raising awareness for political, educational, social and economic equality of minority group citizens in the areas of supplier diversity, employment equity and access as well as pay equity. With our wide range of adult branches, youth councils, and strategic alliances in 25 states, 2 countries and the District of Columbia, NBITLO is actively engaged in increasing the African American responsiveness of citizens to be fully engaged in bridging the digital divide.
NBITLO’s National Education initiative strives to ensure that all students have access to an equal and high-quality public education by eliminating education-related racial and ethnic disparities in our public schools, and access to HBCU, STATE and Private college options.
Through advocacy training, policy development and guidance, building collaborative networks, and direct action, the NBITLO works to assure an equitable start for all Americans.
Our reach extends beyond our shores into other continents. Through our strategic partnerships with Geeks Gone Global, NBITLO members and partners receive exclusive discounts to Geeks Gone Global Entrepreneurship excursions.
NBITLO advocates for smarter, results-based programmatic policies to diversify the workplace, increase women’s access to S.T.E.M. professions and strengthen female entrepreneurs. We are dedicated 365 days a year to resourcing and equipping a dynamic force of female leaders.
We believe in building bridges to enlighten and raise up the next generation of tech and stem innovators planting seeds in the silicone backyards across America. This notion is strengthened through alliances with such groups as the World Youth Foundation, Urban League, and Innovate Africa.
